Dr. Matthew A. Johnson ("Dr. J.") is a licensed clinical psychologist. He holds degrees from the University of Alaska, Rutgers University, and George Fox University. Since 1982, he has worked with parents and children in the mental health field in group homes, residential treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient settings.
